You take Mounjaro once a week, on the same day, with or without food. Start on 2.5mg for four weeks, then step up by 2.5mg every four weeks as tolerated, up to a maximum of 15mg.
2.5mg → 5mg → 7.5mg → 10mg → 12.5mg → 15mg

How to Store Your Mounjaro Pen
To keep your injection safe and effective, store it correctly from the moment it arrives. We ship every pen in temperature-controlled packaging, but storage at home is just as important.
- Keep unused pens refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C
- After your first dose, the pen can stay at room temperature (up to 30°C) for up to 30 days
- Never freeze the pen or leave it in direct sunlight
